The Stir Fry Pop Star is the alter ego of Ryan Wilson. hailing From the Planet Tharg, he has self-recorded and produced a finger thumping collection of synthpop-electro
tunes for your aural pleasure.
History
What began as a childhood interest in sci-if and unusual noises, has progressed to an
obsessive fascination with technology and synthesisers. After acquiring a few of these said
instruments, Mr Stir Fry tried his luck playing for a variety of London and Derby based bands, with
musically diverse influences such as surf-punk, industrial electro, shoe-gaze, and a large
monotony of alternative indie bands with moderate success.

Currently Mr Stir Fry has had lots of positive air-play from BBC Introducing (London), Synth
City - Phoenix 98 FM, Eagle 3, Rusty Egans Electronic Family Tree on Artefaktor Radio and
Analogue Trash Radio as well as various niche internet radio stations across the globe.
The Stir Fry Pop Star's track "Pray Now" has been selected to appear on Electro London
Records SynthWave Vol 1 compilation album, featuring twelve artists from around the
